Autumn into winter

What a funny old time we have had. Chris and I have had to change our perspective over these last few months. It’s not a bad thing to do that and we are sure that many people have. Chris has had to seek work locally and he has tapped into his building knowledge and creativity and created outdoor kitchens, patios, terraces and oak pergolas for friends and clients. Inbetween times, he has helped me put together my ideas for furniture, mending things and generally heaving them around. And wonderfully, we now have fully insulated the studio which means, obvs, it’s cosy but also that I can draw and create out there and not on the kitchen table!

So this Summer we weren’t able to go to France and find ‘French things’ so we have looked closer to home and picked up furniture we thought we could do something with……. Our eldest daughter deferred her start at University and is now au pairing in Paris. Oh wonderful! I thought……quick little weekends across the channel to visit and pootle the markets…….Clearly not with the quarantine in place. So, reassessing, looking in a different direction, looking up and out, we have worked on the website and on my Instagram and whilst I am still taking photographs and uploading, we hope that you like what you see. More is rolling in daily.

We are very happy to deliver for free, as much as we can, anything that can’t be posted. Please let us know. If you’d like to buy a gift for anyone, perhaps we can post direct to them (beautifully packaged) or deliver.

We hope these next few weeks are positive ones for you, do take care and we really look forward to meeting you should you manage to wend your way over to Goudhurst.
